Six Flags Magic Mountain
This amusement park is a must-stop for those who are seeking excitement, boasting more than 100 rides and attractions. It’s also ideal for families with kids of different ages since it has plenty of fun activities for all. My kids simply adored the roller coasters and water rides, and we spent the whole day there.
Central Park
This park is located in the center of Santa Clarita and has something for everyone. Younger kids would love the playground, and older kids will be thrilled with the splash pad and skate park. There is also a lot of space for having picnics and playing games. We had an enjoyable afternoon there and my kids really did not want to leave!
Santa Clarita Aquatic Center
If you’re looking for an escape from the heat, the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center is the perfect spot. It has a pool with a slide, a lazy river, and a splash pad, plus a sauna and a hot tub. My children had a blast playing in the pool.
When it comes to good eats, you’ll find plenty to pick from in Santa Clarita. If you’re in the mood for something fast, you won’t be disappointed with In-N-Out Burger or Chipotle. Alternatively, you may fancy a bit more fancy fare – in which case, Valencia Country Club or Wolf Creek Brewery are great choices. Both spots have tasty menus that the entire family will love.
Accomodations
Accommodation in Santa Clarita is plentiful. The Hampton Inn and Suites Santa Clarita is a popular pick, boasting comfy lodgings and a great location. Alternatively, the Hilton Garden Inn Valencia Six Flags offers a pool and a fitness center. If you’re hoping for something different, you can always try staying at an Airbnb. There are plenty of choices in the area, from cosy apartments to large homes.
Overall, my family had a great time in the city and I’d certainly recommend it to others. It’s a great value and there’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to return and discover more of what Santa Clarita has to offer.
