Easter is just around the corner and I don’t know about you guys but it snuck up really quickly on me! In an effort to still decorate the kids table for Easter, I headed to my favorite store Michaels. I fell in love with the new Meyer Lemon collection by Martha Stewart and I knew with a couple DIY’s we’d have an adorable Easter themed table, including my favorite bunny butts (or bottoms, if you’re my nieces)!
If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you might not know that just the other day, I confessed my love for bunny bottoms with some onesies I made for my youngest niece. You can check out the post here! I’ve been on the bunny bottom train since last year when I first created bunny butt placemats and I’m never looking back. I’m pretty convinced they will be a staple every year going forward!
For this year’s kids Easter table I wanted to make it cute but without too much effort. That’s where Michaels and Martha Stewart came in. One stop shopping for the win! Have you guys seen her new party collections? They’re so fun and have everything you need to put together the perfect party tablescape!
I’m usually all about the DIY and my parties consist of items from several different places but this setup is pretty much all the Meyer Lemon collection! This isn’t even sponsored, I just loved the colors, gingham and floral patterns so much, I couldn’t resist using it for Easter! Here’s a list of most of the items you see in the above pictures that I bought at Michaels.

Bunny Butt Plates – Materials Needed:
- Yellow gingham plates
- White cardstock
- Scissors or cutting machine
- Bunny paw pattern
- Glue
- White yarn
- Pom pom maker
To create the bunny butt plates, I used this pattern I found on google. I uploaded it to the Cricut design space and cut the plates out that way. You could also use the pattern as a template if you’re cutting by hand. I sized each paw to about 3.25″ x 4″. You can adjust the size of the paws depending on the size of your main plate.
Once you have the paws cut out, you can add white cardstock to the back of each paw to act as the paw pads.
The final step is to create your bunny tail! I’m sure you could buy large white pom poms but it was just as easy to make them using white yarn and this pom pom maker. I used the largest one (the blue maker) to make these! If you’re not familiar with pom pom making, there are a lot of great tutorials on YouTube!
The bunny butt plates were certainly the star of the table! For the rest of the decorations, I just used the items I mentioned above as fillers to give the table some more color. This might be one of my favorite tablescapes to date and it was so easy, I know you busy mommas love that!
