All you need is LOVE. And balloons!
I fell in love with the balloon stand DIY located here and knew I had to make a Valentine’s stand to celebrate this year. The inspiration started with the color pink and grew from there.
At some point during crafting, the song “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles became stuck in my head so that is where the stand topper came from. The letters weren’t hanging quite right as a garland so I used toothpicks to attach the letters to the top piece of cardboard.
And of course, balloons (balloon wands to be more specific)! Because that is what we were planning to give away with our stand.
It ended up that Valentine’s Day was also the first day of Random Acts of Kindness week (you can read more about that here) so giving away our balloons to the neighborhood children was the perfect jumpstart to a week of making kindness a priority.
This balloon stand brought back all sorts of fun memories of the candy stand I had when I was little so I’ve decided it needs to be refreshed on a regular basis. With the weather here in Arizona as warm as it is, I’m thinking we’ll need a popsicle stand ASAP!
