St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and I’ve got the perfect St. Patrick’s Day Craft to keep your little ones entertained. A rainbow St. Patrick’s Day playdoh kit!

Have you guys tried playdoh kits yet? I’m slightly obsessed with them right now! They’re so easy to put together and provide hours of entertainment.

For this kit, I started with making the rainbow playdoh. If you don’t already have a favorite recipe, I love this one. It takes minutes and is no-fail every time! I also tried using gel food dye (recommended in the recipe) for the first time and it will be my go-to going forward. Look how bright the colors turned out!

Once you have the playdoh complete, now comes the fun part, assembling the kit! I used this plastic bead box. I loved how the dividers were removable so I could adjust each compartment depending on what I wanted to include. Since it was for St. Patrick’s Day, I definitely wanted to include all things gold, green, and 4-leaf clovers!

Materials:

  • Plastic Bead Box
  • Rainbow Playdoh
  • Gold/Green coins (Michaels holiday section & Dollar Store)
  • 4 leaf clovers
  • Shamrock cookie cutters
  • Miniature rolling pins
  • Glitter storage tubes
  • Gold chunky glitter

I had the miniature rolling pins leftover from making playdoh mud pies at our WellieWishers birthday party. To better match St. Patrick’s day I just painted the handles green. I also wanted to include little pots of gold so that’s where the little tubes of gold glitter came from. Who doesn’t love glitter, and mixed with playdoh? It might be a bit messy but it’s so fun to play with!

Now that I’m on a playdoh kick, be sure to check back soon or follow along on Instagram. I think the next kit I create will be pizza themed!

I’m a stay at home mum, and an aspiring photographer. I love taking care of my home and my family, and I also adore photography. Apart from being a mummy (/nurse/teacher/confidant am I right?), I also write on this blog full time, and I’m working towards opening a photo studio (fingers crossed!)
