I remember making shake and bake with my mother when I was a kid and she would always do silly voices to say their tag line of “It’s Shake N Bake and I helped!”

Copycat Gluten Free Shake and BakeIngredients  Instructions Chicken

It is such a delicious product, but unfortunately not gluten free. This recipe is super easy and uses our favorite breadcrumb alternative….. RICE CHEX! It’s so crazy, but so delicious and so easy in fact that I forgot to take pictures of me making it! I remembered as I pulled my delicious chicken out of the oven. Oops!

Basically, you throw all the ingredients into a bowl, blend together and store in a zip lock bag. I will sometimes double up the recipe and keep it in the cabinet for a quick meal idea. I have a series of random bags and jars of things in the cabinet just in case and this is one of them. Being gluten free often means that we have to prepare things ahead of time if we want delicious food and we do!

When you are ready to cook some chicken, put the oven on 400 degrees, coat some boneless chicken with mayo and press it into the GF copycat shake and bake coating and cook for about 30 minutes.
